In honor of Yahoo Mail's 16th birthday on Tuesday, the service is getting a revamp — inspired in part by mobile.
The most noticeable part of the update is its new rich themes. Designed to take advantage of high-quality mobile screens such as Apple’s Retina display, the new themes incorporate Flickr photos into Mail, giving your email experience an entirely new look
Yahoo is currently working with the photographers of 24 different Flickr images and created customized themes around the colors in those images
