Groupon Offers a Cut to Publishers Running Ads for Deals

Publishers looking to make some extra cash can now work with Groupon directly to run ads for deals


Groupon opened up its Groupon Partner Network globally on Monday. Interested publishers can earn up to 12% on a consummated Groupon deal. (The 12% is an introductory promotion; in October, the figure will drop to 10%.) The program rolled out in pilot earlier this year and is now available in 34 countries


Publishers can apply for the program at partner.groupon.com



Once accepted, publishers gain access to dozens of banner ads and widgets. Groupon also provides diagnostics to show how the ads — which work on desktops as well as mobile devices — performed and specifics on commissions.
