Amazon Misses Earnings Target and Other News You Need to Know

Today, we're looking at three particularly interesting storiesAmazon missed its earnings target for the quarter despite solid revenue and sales. The retailer reported $15.7 billion in revenue, up from last year’s $12.8 billion, but experienced a $7 million operating loss — neatly offsetting its $7 million profit secured last year


Google has already ended a promotion tied to its new Chromecast streaming dongle. Finally, a study from the Illinois Institute of Technology analyzed five 3D printers that use raw ABS and PLA plastics and found they emit high levels of ultra-fine particles (UFPs). Read more...
