Microsoft Shows Off Xbox One in Unboxing Video

Microsoft opened up about the Day One edition of the Xbox One in an unboxing video released on Thursday.


In the video, Xbox One spokesman Major Nelson took viewers on a tour of the Xbox One's console, controller, Kinect sensor, cables and — a big surprise — chat headset. Microsoft had previously stated the chat headset, priced at $24.99, would not be bundled in the system.



The Xbox One Day One edition includes a few extras, such as a commemorative controller with a chrome-plated D-pad and a sticker with a code to download Day One exclusives.


Nelson showed off the console itself as well, which sports HDMI-in and HDMI-out ports, three USB 3.0 ports, an ethernet port and IR ports for the Kinect sensor. The Xbox One also boasts an internal 500 GB hard drive and an 8-core x86 processor. Read more...
