Jeff Bezos Buys 'The Washington Post' and Other News You Need to Know

Welcome to this morning's edition of "First To Know," a series in which we keep you in the know on what's happening in the digital world.


Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos bought The Washington Post on Monday for $250 million in cash. Getting away with piracy may soon be more difficult thanks to a system Comcast is putting in place, which pushes pop-ups to those caught pirating. A complement to the system will offer links to buy or rent the content they're downloading illegally. And Crossbar announced a new 1TB RAM that will hold onto data even after the system is powered off.
